On Tuesday, the Decorative Arts Society will host a fun and enlightening morning with Carleton Varney, one of America’s best known interior designers, at the Edwards Newport Stadium theater beginning with a breakfast buffet at 9:30 a.m. and a presentation at 10 a.m. Varney has applied his signature mix of bright colors, bold designs and floral patterns to countless projects all over the world, from cottages to castles, cruise ships to country clubs, and mansions to a McDonald’s. Recently we were introduced to the hair wonders of Dennis Lee, a master stylist at Armando Joshua Christopher in Newport Beach.
