A new indoor cycling studio like no other, GRIT Cycle in Costa Mesa will celebrate its grand opening Thursday at 6:30 p.m. with healthy hors d' oeuvres from Filomena's Italian Kitchen and Nekter Juice Bar and Pacific+Wine and Spirits serving Nekter mock-tails. Co-founders Marisa Wayne, Candice Collings and Matt Bourne (pictured aboce) will unveil the philosophy of GRIT, with its “GRIT Gives” program to support “wellness minded local programs” such as the Newport-Mesa Unified School District, the Newport-Mesa YMCA, John Wayne Cancer Foundation and others that help to educate the community on health and wellness. PdM’s New Kitchen in Irvine

PdM Kitchen, a sister restaurant to the four popular PdM Cafés along coastal Orange County, is celebrating its grand opening today and Tuesday  in Irvine by donating a portion of its sales to Fristers, a non-profit organization in Irvine providing education, access to resources, role models and support to teen mothers and their children. PdM Kitchen, in Irvine’s Oak Creek Shopping Center, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.
