The who's who of the culinary industry showed up on Sunday, September 24 for the 6th Annual Golden Foodie Awards at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa. Celebrity guests, star chefs, and foodie fans walked the red carpet, indulged in top cuisine, sipped on exquisite cocktails, wines and enjoyed an entertaining Awards show that honored the best in Orange County culinary excellence. Knock Out Diabetes at UCI Diabetes Center Fight for A Cure

The Fight for a Cure is on at the 11th annual Celebrate the UCI Diabetes Center and Fundraiser and Networking Cocktail Party on Thursday, Oct. 19 at 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Newport Beach Country Club in Newport Beach. The evening includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine, research update, opportunity drawing and wheel and silent auction. Honorees include Tariq and Uzma Chaudhary, with a special tribute to S.
