The Philharmonic Society of Orange County is proud to present its 25th Philharmonic House of Design in the spectacular oceanfront community of Ritz Cove in Dana Point, nestled between the five-star Ritz Carlton and Monarch Beach Resort. Offering stunning whitewater views of one of the most breathtaking beaches in the world, the house epitomizes beachfront living at its finest, and is situated directly above the Monarch Beach golf course and the magnificent Monarch Bay and Salt Creek Beach. One of the Best New Restaurants in OC

My new favorite restaurant to open in Orange County could easily be Journeyman’s Food and Drink in Fullerton. Chef Zachary Geerson, who also has Citizen Kitchen at The Hotel Fullerton just opened this new pre-fixe restaurant that’s unlike anything I’ve experienced in Orange County. Geerson describes his cuisine as post-modern and globally-inspired. The menu offers four courses, things like an Amuse Bouche of foie gras marshmallow; Grilled Leek with ginger with ginger “curd” and green tea dashi; Lamb with cucumber, garlic, and oregano; Goat Cheese Ravioli with spring vegetables, white asparagus bisque. More than 23,000 participants of all ages and athletic abilities are expected at the 2018 OC Marathon Running Festival, a world-class, three-day event from May 4 to 6 featuring the SDCCU OC Marathon and Half Marathon, the Wahoo’s OC 5k, the Kids Run the OC “Final Mile,” the Ultimate Finish Line Festival, and the OC Lifestyle and Fitness Expo.
