Newport Beach’s Only Craft Brewery Opens

Helmsman Ale House, a 15-barrel brewhouse, complete with a full-service family-friendly restaurant just opened in the Cannery Village on the Balboa peninsula. The concept is the newest venture by restaurateurs Mario Marovic and Andrew Gabriel who have produced 13 other venues throughout Orange County, including Playa Mesa,  The Country Club, and Wild Goose Tavern, Dory Deli and award-winning Matador Cantina & Cocina, among others. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts as the official sites of this year’s National Dance Day celebrations on Saturday, September 21.
