Opah Restaurant & Bar at The Market Place in Irvine just launched new Happy Hour specials—all starters half price, and specially priced beer and wine. And Happy Hour lasts the duration of the NFL games Monday game.(Sunday through Thursday from 4 to 6:30 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9 to 11 p.m.). I’m in love with the Fast Food Maven, a.k.a. Nancy Luna at the OC Register. She is on top of food news like no other. I couldn’t compete with her, she knows too much. Yesterday she updated the Kids Eat Free list in OC, added four Carl’s Jr., Lucille’s BBQ and Hof’s Hut. So naturally it got me thinking about kids eating free. I have friends who feel so proprietary about Nordstrom Rack’s bargains on designer apparel that I could possibly lose them as friends for posting this.
