Sadly, one of my favorite boutiques, elle H. in Laguna is closing after three years. Calling All Virgins?

When I first heard that Veggie Grill in Irvine was calling on all “virgins” to come out for its Virgin Night this Tuesday, I thought that’s not going to be much of a crowd. But then, I realized, a “virgin” was just a friend who is experiencing The Veggie Grill for the first-time. Ok, that’s completely different. So hear you go, on Tuesday you can treat a “virgin” friend to a complimentary entrée provided at The Veggie Grill. Terrariums, So Hot Right Now!

I completely forgot about terrariums, until I read The Ecology Center’s first-ever workshop on the art of terrariums! And like anything that’s tie-dye, I love this remnant from the 70’s. This Saturday, Jan. 9 at 1 p.m. you can create an entirely self-sufficient ecosystem that fit inside one-gallon glass jars. Big Burgers, Big Deal

Wait a second, one minute Hooters is known for waitresses with big, well you know, and now we have to think of it as a Big Burger meal deal spot? So I read that Hooters claims that today’s debut of “More than a Mouthful Mondays” a ½ elle bee cheeseburger with French fries for $5.99 is the best value in the restaurant biz today. Hmmm, I guess they haven’t been to my favorite burger place in OC, T.K. Burgers where the big bargain combo (a cheeseburger and fries) costs $5.49. Not only that, but the girls are super cute too.…

Free Cupcakes are Divine!

It’s no doubt that Sprinkles is the leader in the cupcake craze, but right here in OC, you can find Divine Desserts in Laguna Niguel which specializes in incredible cupcakes, too. Cordon Bleu trained chef/co-owner Leslie Lewis bakes 20 flavors daily, and she creates custom cakes to die for as well.
