I’m in love with the Fast Food Maven, a.k.a. Nancy Luna at the OC Register. She is on top of food news like no other. I couldn’t compete with her, she knows too much. Yesterday she updated the Kids Eat Free list in OC, added four Carl’s Jr., Lucille’s BBQ and Hof’s Hut. So naturally it got me thinking about kids eating free. Shhh! Daily bargains at Nordstrom Rack

I have friends who feel so proprietary about Nordstrom Rack’s bargains on designer apparel that I could possibly lose them as friends for posting this. But, for you, I’ll put the friendship to the test.  Here’s the skinny: you can walk into Nordstrom Rack at Metro Pointe in Costa Mesa on any given day (preferably before noon) and find designer clothing for men and women, shoes, purses and more at a fraction of retail prices. Lumberyard’s first anniversary specials

October marks Lumberyard‘s first year anniversary, and if you’re big on classic American cuisine,  this downtown Laguna Beach restaurant is perfect for you. (And BTW, it has a nice saloon-style bar.)
