One of my favorite companies that I’ve ever written about on Greer’s OC, Irvine based Laga Handbags were featured on Oprah show yesterday! A Laga handbag is more than a fashionable purse; it’s a way of helping survivors of the 2004 tsunami in Indonesia and profits disaster victims. Each bag is handmade by a survivor.  There’s something for everyone: purses, totes, wallets, cosmetic bags, backpacks, and travel bags. Even if you’re not a bargain shopper, you are going to love Costa Mesa’s new Loehmann’s at Metro Pointe. Compared to most Loehmann’s where you really have to be in the mood to shop in a utilitarian environment, wading through merchandise, albeit finding good buys, this store’s interior is more upscale, with an incredible selection of apparel reduced 30 to 65% off original prices.
