Mimi Ngo is a southern California native who is a junior at California State University, Long Beach as an English rhetoric and composition major. Mimi is also a professional makeup artist who is always in the know with the latest beauty trends of the season. Food Pantry Friday

One of our favorite local nonprofits, Project Hope Alliance, is dedicated to ending homelessness in Orange County through an innovative rapid rehousing program. Part of their mission also includes PHA’s Food Pantry, which provides non-perishable essentials and personal hygiene items for the many of the families they serve. We’re incorporating a Food Pantry Friday element to announce what is needed most at PHA’s Food Pantry. Huntington Downtown A Fun and Festive Week

It’s a busy and fun week in Huntington Beach Downtown. Starting with the HB Downtown Art Walk on Thursday, June 18 from 6 to 9 p.m. You can come out and check out artists located in locations throughout the downtown--from Orange St., down Main St., and all the way to The Strand.
