Opening Day Del Mar Race Track

Horse racing fans can celebrate Opening Day on Thursday, July 16 as the Del Mar Race Track summer season kicks off through Monday, September 7. More than 40,000 attendees are expected to show up for Thursday’s fashionable Opening Day festivities that includes the Opening Day Hats Contest, and The Party with style, sun, music and action. Hyatt Huntington Beach is calling all OC neighbors to participate in a bone marrow donor drive on Thursday, July 23 in an effort to find a life-saving match for Emma Devitt, the 8-year-old daughter of the resorts former general manager, Paul Devitt. Emma has a rare form of leukemia and is desperately in need of a compatible donor, which the Hyatt hopes to discover during the day-long donor event.
