Waste To Waves at Mother’s Market

Mother’s Market and Kitchen in Costa Mesa is hosting a “styrofoam-to-surfboard” recycling drive, in support of SustainableSurf.org’s “Waste to Waves” program, Saturday and Sunday, June 4-5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is in honor of “World Oceans Day” June 8. You can drop off recyclable styrofoam packaging foam and enjoy a musical performance by Joel Harper, musician and author of the children’s book All the Way to the Ocean on Saturday. Stacks Pancakes’ Now in Irvine

Stacks Pancake House, an original Orange County breakfast spot that specializes in Hawaiian inspired breakfasts and lunches, just opened its third location at Walnut Village Center in Irvine. The original Stacks is in Dana Point, and Stacks is also in Mission Viejo.
