From Spectrum to Screen Aufest at AMC Orange

The first annual AutFest International Film Festival, presented by The Autism Society, will take place Saturday, April 22 - Sunday, April 23 at AMC Orange 30 in Orange, CA. It will screen nine feature-length films and six shorts that that promote autism awareness and/or are made by filmmakers with autism. In addition, AutFest will honor and feature Q&As with The Accountant’s Ben Affleck and the filmmakers behind Inside Out, Pixar Animation Studios Pete Docter and Jonas Rivera. The Encore for Education is a charity concert underwritten by generous sponsors from the real estate industry to support Buchanan Children’s Charities and the OC Community Foundation and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) OC. That’s What Friends Are For Fundraiser

Sir Bruno Serato, known for feeding 2,200 needy kids each day from the kitchen of his celebrated Anaheim White House, and Garth Blumenthal, general manager of Fletcher Jones Motorcars will witness the true meaning of their friendship as they face the aftermath of a tragedy together. Serato’s restaurant, where most of the food for the children is prepared each day, was decimated in a recent fire.
