Cheap Trick benefit Concert at House of Blues

You can join a benefit concert featuring Cheap Trick on Thursday, April 20 at House of Blues Anaheim. The Encore for Education is a charity concert underwritten by generous sponsors from the real estate industry to support Buchanan Children’s Charities and the OC Community Foundation and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) OC. Additionally proceeds from the concert will benefit Music Matters, a program created in partnership with the Orange County Community Foundation to bring music programs back to Orange County schools. Sir Bruno Serato, known for feeding 2,200 needy kids each day from the kitchen of his celebrated Anaheim White House, and Garth Blumenthal, general manager of Fletcher Jones Motorcars will witness the true meaning of their friendship as they face the aftermath of a tragedy together. Serato’s restaurant, where most of the food for the children is prepared each day, was decimated in a recent fire. When Blumenthal learned of the tragedy, he was among the first of Serato’s friends who pledged to help rebuild the historic structure. At you prepare for your move and find things that you’d like to donate, you simply fill your box with non-perishable food, animal food/toys, school supplies or books that Meathead Movers will pick up at a later date and deliver to respective local nonprofits – Orange County Food Bank, OC Animal Care and Project Hope Alliance.
