The 56th annual Corona del Mar Sandcastle Contest

The 56th annual Corona del Mar Sandcastle Contest will take place on Sunday, Oct. 1 from 10 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. at Big Corona State Beach. This year’s theme is “Pirates of the Pacific.” This long-running event attracts thousands of spectators and contest participants ranging from seasoned professionals to first–timers. The 2nd Annual Breitling Huntington Beach Airshow

The 2nd Annual Breitling Huntington Beach Airshow on Friday, Sept. 29 through Sunday, Oct. 1 will feature spectacular stunts from fleets of planes and jets flying over the Pacific Ocean in the only beachfront airshow on the West Coast. Flying begins at noon each day with many of the aerobatic maneuvers happening over Huntington Beach. It will feature the US Navy Blue Angels, along with the RCAF Snowbirds.
