Due to projected rain this weekend, The District's Lunar New Year event has been moved to a new date of Sunday, Feb.10, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The District will celebrate Lunar New Year with traditional and family-friendly festivities to ring in the Year of the Pig. Beginning at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, the first 500 guests will receive a lucky red envelope containing a crisp $1 bill, a tradition that symbolizes good fortune for the coming year.
