This month, Pop-In@Nordstrom is offering an exclusive MCM capsule collection including more than 100 unique items celebrating the heritage, history and future of luxury brand MCM. Delving into the MCM archive, Olivia Kim, Nordstrom VP of Creative Projects, reimagines some of the brand’s most coveted and iconic styles including collaborations with Everlast, New Era and Champion. The shop will be available in select Nordstrom stores such as South Coast Plaza and online at Nordstrom.com/pop through November 11. Festival Ballet Theatre, Orange County’s resident professional ballet company is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a repertory of innovative contemporary works and acclaimed classical ballets. The season starts with Ovation, a conceptual tour de force in three pieces by contemporary choreographers on October 13 and 14, followed by The Nutcracker from December 8 to 24, Sleeping Beauty on March 23 and 24, concluding with Gala of the Stars in August 2019 (venue to be announced). The Ecology Center officially began consolidating with South Coast Farms increasing the non-profit organization’s footprint by 27 acres. To offer more opportunities for visitors to meaningfully support their community, The Ecology Center will design, curate and stock the new Farm Store to reflect the local community and region. This redesign will happen in phases over the next year.
