One of my favorite finds for interesting gifts that you won’t see elsewhere is at Summerhill Ltd. in Old Towne Orange. Owner Denise Jochec is always on the lookout for beautiful tabletop pieces, art, silver, crystal stemware, porcelain and jewelry boxes that make great gifts. Chie’s Freedom Wing’s for Breast Cancer Research

Sisters and co-founders of contemporary art and lifestyle brand, Oliver Gal have a long history of fighting breast cancer. Now, in support of their cousin, Chie who was recently diagnosed, Oliver Gal created a custom art piece, Chie's Freedom Wings as a tribute to those who’ve lost their battle to breast cancer and to those who are fighting and inspiring others every day. During the month of October, 10% of proceeds of Chie's Freedom Wings will go to The Basser Center for BRCA, the first comprehensive center for the research, treatment, and prevention of BRCA-related cancers The price is $100.

Brunos Italian Kitchen, the popular Italian restaurant in Brea Downtown, launches their new fall and winter menu today featuring new appetizers, entrees, pasta, desserts, and cocktails. One of the new seasonal menu items is the Winter Squash Ravioli made with roasted winter squash, ricotta, parmesan, nutmeg, sage brown-butter cream, and hazelnuts.
