7th Annual Champagne & Oyster “Sip & Shuck” Fundraiser

For the 7th consecutive year, The Deck on Laguna Beach and Driftwood Kitchen, together with The Bungalows at Pacific Edge Hotel, will host Sip & Shuck on Sunday, November 3 from 2-6 p.m. to benefit CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Orange County. The event will give guests the unique opportunity to experience a variety of hand-shucked oysters, champagne, sparkling wines, spirits and more from around the world, all while enjoying panoramic ocean views from the oceanfront restaurants. Executive Chef Rainer Schwarz and his team will prepare delicious tastes from The Deck, Driftwood Kitchen, and Hendrix Restaurant & Bar. Tempura Chef Carlos Pinto Opens First Restaurant

Tempura Chef Carlos A. Pinto of Hannosuke Restaurant will open his first restaurant in Torrance on Friday, November 1. To welcome local residents, Pinto will offer 100 bowls of his signature tempura-don dish FREE OF CHARGE on Friday, November 1 only, to the first 100 people who follow the restaurant’s Instagram page.
