On a recent trip to San Jose, we discovered what will go down as one of our favorite hotels to stay at for shopping, dining and entertainment in one locale. Hotel Valencia is right in the heart of Santana Row, a brilliant development with more than 70 upscale shops, 20 restaurants, 9 spas and salons combined—and yet only one hotel.
Hotel Valencia is an award winning boutique hotel, it’s luxurious with expansive rooms, style and sophistication. It’s romantic, with a timeless old world Spanish design, stunning courtyard with a rooftop wine bar and pool for year-round enjoyment. 
There are 215 well-appointed guest rooms and 17 suites with balcony and courtyard views including a Presidential Suite.
You’ll love the custom designed beds with 300 –thread count designer Egyptian linens, and each morning you can enjoy complimentary continental breakfast served in the Citrus Restaurant.
With all of the nearby restaurants choices, you can opt to dine in at Hotel Valencia and know that they have a fine dining restaurant, Citrus Restaurant, and two hotspots: Vbar and Cielo.
Citrus Restaurant offers a classic menu with hearty steaks, fresh seafood and vegetarian plates in an open-air environment.
Vbar and Cielo, are ideal setting to enjoy your favorite drink. Vbar is an ultra-hip lounge complete with flat panel TV's and a state of the art sound system, with an expansive balcony featuring prime views of Santana Row.
Cielo, a seasonal rooftop terrace and bar offers cozy and comfortable seating and stunning views of the Santa Cruz Mountains.
You can’t beat the location, it’s just a quick 10 minute drive from the San Jose International Airport, and it’s close to culture, there’s a nearby Center for the Performing Arts and San Jose Repertory Theater and if you need more shopping in, you need to check out the nearby Westfield Valley Fair with more than 270 shops and restaurants. Sports enthusiasts will appreciate that it’s only 11 miles from Levi's stadium, home of the San Franciso 49'ers.
