MOTOWN at THE CASINO SAN CLEMENTE
08.01.19
The Casino San Clemente pays homage to its golden days as a dance hall thanks to headliner The DownTown Band, presented by Laid Black Entertainment, performing on Friday, August 2 with a Motown tribute.
The renowned band plays frequently at Cooks Chapel in Anaheim and will be bringing several star vocalists to enliven their premier show on the Casino’s historic stage. Expect favorites from the catalog of Stevie Wonder, the Temptations, Marvin Gaye and Gladys Knight and the Pips. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., music begins at 7 p.m., so come grab a seat near the historic “floating” dance floor and enjoy a cocktail on the Patio of the Stars.
Tickets can be purchased online at casinomotown.eventbrite.com for $20 entrance fee. There are also $30 tickets which include entrance as well as a “homage to hummus” appetizer plate courtesy of California Fresh Catering. The Casino’s cash bar will be open all night.
