Rolling Back Prices at Balboa Fun Zone!

To celebrate the Balboa Fun Zone's 75th anniversary this Saturday, the nostalgic Newport Harbor tradition is rolling back its prices to 1936 levels. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 24, the fun zone will be offering carousel rides for five cents, ferris wheel rides for 10 cents, Harbor Cruise rides for 25 cents and admission to ExplorOcean/ Newport Harbor Nautical Museum for only five cents. Purple Wednesday

You can do so much for a loved one suffering from Alzheimer’s disease this week. On Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. wear purple and join Alzheimer’s Action Day at the District at Tustin Legacy. It’s your chance to speak up in the fight against Alzheimer’s at the first county-wide rally, and recognize local law enforcement and emergency responders who ensure the safety of those with Alzheimer’s. Art Cube is featuring a group show of works by Alexandra Eldridge, Cody Hooper, and Laurie Hassold, along with new works from its roster of artists. And Art Cube is expanding.
