The Fairmont Hotel in Newport Beach is a winter wonderland with its Festival of Trees on display now through Wednesday, December 2. The extravagant trees are sponsored and decorated by businesses, organizations or individuals and will be the centerpieces of the Silver and Gold Reception & Tree Auction to benefit South County Outreach on Thursday, December 3, at 6:30 p.m. The Silver and Gold Reception will feature wine, hors d’ oeuvres, seasonal entertainment and an exciting live auction. Irvine Spectrum’s OC Chill Ice Rink

Irvine Spectrum Center has its own winter wonderland! Its outdoor OC Chill Ice Rink is open through Monday, Feb. 15. Skate sessions last 75 minutes and are priced at $18.50 for adults and children (includes skates rentals).
