By Asma Mohammed September 30th marked the opening of Los Angeles’s very own cat café, Crumbs & Whiskers  on the corner of Melrose and Fairfax Ave! Here, cats that are up for adoption in local shelters are given a chance to socialize with people looking to adopt or simply give the cats a bit of affection. A portion of proceeds from the café will go to benefit non-profits like Open Space and Karma Rescue.
