Mother’s Market & Kitchen’s Costa Mesa store will partner with Hoag Blood Donor Services to host a blood drive in Mother’s parking lot located at 1890 Newport Blvd. on Wednesday, Dec. 20 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., In appreciation, Mother’s will provide all donors with a coupon for a free 8 oz. fresh juice of choice from Mother’s popular juice bar. Products show up on my doorstep for me to try and test out and I only write about the ones that I like and think you might like, too. When Bacon’s Heir’s sent me Pork Clouds, aka Chicharonnes I was so skeptical. I didn’t think this snack food would be something that I would like. I was wrong. They tasted great, and I love that they’re high in protein and low in carbs. Almost an alternative to beef jerky.
