Rolling in the Green

Orange County is in for an incredible home and garden destination when the award-winning Rolling Greens opens mid-August at SOCO Collection in Costa Mesa. Since 1974, Rolling Greens in Los Angeles has been providing garden and design enthusiasts with premium plants, garden design accessories, décor, rare antiques, and one-of-a-kind items.

Rolling Greens new SOCO store is a unique shopping experience complete with a living plant wall, salvaged greenhouse and other repurposed accents. Local painter, Jeff Peters, has created an impressive botanical art installation and customers can build inspired plant arrangements with "baristas" at the Arrangement Bar. The Bar will also host monthly learn + grow and learn + craft workshop series.

In the home décor sections you can find an international selection of new and vintage accents; Aidan Gray furniture pieces; luxury bedding and table linens; exclusive French apothecary products, and fine books. The “French Market” section will feature gourmet French foods, glassware, and reclaimed wood cutting boards.

Rolling Greens at South Coast Collection will open mid August. Open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Adios El Torito Grill

We are sorry to see El Torito Grill in Fashion Island closing after 26 years of great food and memories. Their last day of operation is Tuesday. So if you can get in today or Tuesday for one last warmer of fresh tortillas with sweet honey butter, salsa and smoky salsa, enchiladas topped with pickled tangy red onions and  signature green rice and black beans you should. Also, don’t forget a Grill Margarita or a glass of chilled Herradura Anejo.
