Urban Produce Farm Store Opens in Irvine

Join the grand opening of the Urban Produce Farm Store in Irvine on Saturday, July 9 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. They have a one-of-a-kind patented growing system that alone is worth the drive and visit. Urban Produce is on an impressive mission to revolutionize locally grown produce and globalize it. Their high-density vertical growing system allows them to grow the equivalent of 16 acres of produce on an 1/8 of an acre footprint.

While you’re there, pick up some fresh organic produce and get a bite to eat from Chef Bill and support Bracken's Kitchen.10% of proceeds will benefit Bracken's Kitchen serving those people suffering from both the ongoing effects of poverty and food insecurity.

The Urban Produce Farm Store offers a variety of 100% organic produce at exclusive wholesale pricing. You can choose from living microgreens: arugula, broccoli, fenugreek, Kale-ifornia, sunflower and wasabi-bok choy.

There will also be live wheatgrass, live basils, living lettuce blends and organic fruit: cherries, mini seedless watermelons, pears and mixed heirloom tomatoes. Organic veggies include brussels sprouts, green beans, butternut squash, spaghetti squash, mini sweet peppers, English cucumbers, and red onions.

Open Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. After the opening, they will determine regular weekend hours. You can also place orders for pick up.
