If you have no plans for New Year’s Eve, here are some fun ideas from The Triangle in Costa Mesa, regardless if you’re celebrating with family, friends or your significant other.
Ring in the New Year with family fun by catching a movie at Starlight Triangle Cinemas. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Moana and Sing are just a few of the family friendly movies currently playing. Collateral Beauty and Fences are two acclaimed movies out for the holidays that are also playing.
Grab lunch or dinner afterwards at one of The Triangle’s popular restaurants, including Saddle Ranch Chop House or Yard House, where regular menus will be available, and seating will be on a first come, first-served basis. Saddle Ranch opens at 9 a.m. and Yard House opens at 11 a.m. Creamistry is also a perfect family treat after a movie or bowling at Tavern + Bowl.
Tavern + Bowl is another great place to celebrate New Year’s Eve, either with the family during the day or with other adults in the evening. A DJ will begin playing music at 9 p.m. with no cover charge, and those who want to bowl before 11:30 p.m. can reserve lanes at the regular rates. After 11:30 p.m., customers can purchase a High Roller Package for $199 for two hours of bowling for up to six people – including shoe rentals – and one bottle of Champagne.
La Vida Cantina will serve lunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will offer Happy Hour from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The evening will offer plenty of entertainment, including DJ Crave from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m., Fire Dancers from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Bottle Service will be offered from 10pm to 1am. There will also be drink specials throughout the night, including $3 Corona and Corona Light, and $8 Premium Margaritas Patron and Casamigos Margaritas.
At TIME Nightclub, revelers can enjoy DJ Steven Wright spinning top 40, hip-hop and mash ups for a great time on Orange County’s largest dance floor. Get into the New Year’s spirit with complimentary party favors, and top off your night with a complimentary glass of Champagne while you ring the New Year. VIP packages, which include VIP admission, table service, plush VIP lounge selections, bottle service and VIP seating are also available. For complete pricing and reservations, please call 714.548.5062.
The Triangle is located at Newport Blvd. and 19th Street at the end of the 55 Fwy. in Costa Mesa. There are seven levels of parking, as well as a valet on the first level of the parking structure near Tavern + Bowl. Overnight parking is available through the valet for $35, or plan to take Uber to and from the center to enjoy the New Year safely!
