The Tropical Plant Paradise

April 22, 2015

One of Orange County’s greatest finds for tropical plants for both indoors and outside is the Plant Stand in Costa Mesa. The warehouse is stocked with birds of paradise, bromeliads, hydrangeas, ficus, orchids, plumerias, palms, kentias, African violets, succulents and much more. They're happy to take special orders, too.

They also stock pottery, baskets, planters, seeds, décor and ceramics.

On Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. they offer educational gardening tips; and on Saturday, April 26, the Plant Stand will be at the Southern California Spring Garden Show at South Coast Plaza at 3:30 p.m. to talk about glorious succulent gardens.

Open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

The Plant Stand is at 2972-A Century Place in Costa Mesa. 714.966.0797.
