RITZ CARLTON LA FOR SKY HIGH ROMANCE!
02.09.11
By Sheryll Alexander
Haven’t yet made plans for Valentine’s Day? The brand new Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles, which overlooks L.A. Live on one side and has stunning views of the city (and all the way to the ocean) on the other, still has rooms available for the big day.
Plus, you can book a very romantic dinner with sky-high city views at the hotel’s WP24 Restaurant & Lounge. (Yes, the WP stands for Wolfgang Puck.) The restaurant is perched on the 24th floor and is offering a seven-course tasting menu at $150 per person (wine pairing extra).
You can also book you and your sweetheart into the hotel’s relaxing spa for side-by-side massages in the decadent couple’s suite. The “couple’s retreat package” features a celebratory glass of Champagne and citrus sugar scrub treatments.
The Unwine(d) Under the Stars Package starts at $499 per night and includes overnight accommodations, two glasses of Champagne, dinner for two at WP24, breakfast in bed for two and valet parking. (To book this package online, enter the code EAT.)
To book a package or room at the hotel, please call (213) 743-8800 or visit http://www.ritzcarlton.com/en/Properties/LosAngeles/Default
Opened last April, The Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles at L.A. LIVE features 123 well-appointed guestrooms, including 13 suites and one 3,000 sq. ft. The Ritz-Carlton Suite. The hotel is home to WP24 Restaurant & Lounge, which is the latest restaurant concept by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck. Guests enjoy some of the best views in Los Angeles from virtually any part of the hotel, including the 3,400 sq. ft. Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge and the exclusive, private rooftop pool and bar on the 26th floor. The Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles shares the distinctive, 54-story tower with sister hotel The JW Marriott Hotel Los Angeles at L.A. LIVE and The Ritz-Carlton Residences at L.A. LIVE. Steps away from STAPLES Center, Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE, The GRAMMY Museum and an array of restaurants, venues and nightspots, The Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles is at the center of one of the most exciting parts of the city.
