OC’s Green Foam & Anderson Cooper!

I’m super thrilled that Anderson Cooper is shining the spotlight on OC based Green Foam Blanks and Resurf Foundation tonight on CNN’s news show “Anderson Cooper 360°”. As Cooper says, his show takes “in depth look at the most interesting stories of the day” and as you’ll see Green Foam Blanks and Resurf Foundation’s founders Joey Santley and Steve Cox of San Clemente are changing the impact of the surf industry on the environment. The two discovered a new process to recycle polyurethane foam dust waste – previously headed for the landfill into first quality surfboard blanks ready for shaping.…

Celebrate Saturday at Holiday!

Holiday Salon is celebrating seven years as one of the hottest salons for hair and makeup in Costa Mesa with a big bash Saturday from 7 to 11 p.m. The festivities include a DJ, cocktails, photo booth, swag bags for the first 50 guests and raffling off gift baskets of hair care, skin care, and cosmetics. You can help improve the lives of at-risk youth in OC just by attending The Winery Restaurant & Wine Bar’s “Sunday in the Vineyard” fundraiser this Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. The wine-lover’s event features more than 60 premium wines to taste, unique and rare finds from international boutique wineries. The incredible selections include Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label, Caymus Cabernet, Hoopes Cabernet, Liparita Oakville Cabernet, PerryMoore Cabernet, Pahlmeyer Merlot, Turnbull Syrah, Stewart Cabernet and “The Prisoner” Red Blend. The Great Strides Walk is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s largest and most successful national fundraising event (in Orange County, the next walk is Saturday in Huntington Beach at the Bolsa Chica State Park.) If you’d like to get involved by making a donation, just go and hit the “Click to Donate” button. Your donation will be credited to team of Kim Daskas, a major supporter of Greer’s OC who has a family member with Cystic Fibrosis. There is no outside or federal funding for the research and care so desperately needed, so your donation will be making a huge difference…
