Patina Boutique and its nearby sister store, Patina Too, offer a fun and eclectic mix of apparel, jewelry, and accessories carefully selected by owner and jewelry designer, Jenny Johnson.
And Jenny is offering two holiday sale nights at her Costa Mesa stores. On Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m., you can save 20% on all merchandise at Patina Too. (Enjoy Champagne and cupcakes too.) And a week later, on Dec. 14 from 5 to 9 p.m., you can get the same 20% discount on everything at Patina.
Patina is in a funky cottage (in the parking lot behind the Washington Mutual Bank at East 17th Street and Orange Avenue) and offers a large variety of apparel for all types of women (from conservatives to hippies and punk rockers) and figures (from skinny to pleasantly voluptuous). It’s a local treasure of a boutique, holding a surplus of very cool fashions you won’t find at department stores.
The shop features local jewelry designers, handmade shoes by Cydney Mandel, the hold everything clutch by Hobo, and darling baby Frye boots. Burning Torch, Generra and Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent are just a few popular lines.

Patino Too complements its big-sister store by supplying great denim lines, sexy bikinis, accessories and even vintage lamps and mirrors. Jenny proudly sells her sister’s fabulous line of Bubbly Toes flip-flops (glamorous and fun Havaiana’s adorned with vintage costume jewelry pieces), and a mix of Rebel Yell tee’s and hoodies, button rings by Eva, and headbands by Lucy made from vintage kimonos. Just like Patina, it’s hidden treasure housed in a cottage.
The boutique will impress denim-savvy shoppers. It carries a bevy of True Religion jeans (even for kids), Citizens of Humanity, pencil straight Blue Cults, Vintage Rebel, Level 99, and exciting and rare in The OC, Elvis jeans.
Devour's roll-on fragrance oil is a big hit here. The pink-and-white paper tube holds a purse-friendly elixir of exotic blends of pure Himalayan Blue Pine, Lotus, Muguet, Fig, and Cashmere Musk oils.
