Sno on the go

image

Frozen yogurt has had its day in the sun—and we still love it, but there’s always room for more frozen desserts. And that’s why we’re thrilled about Sno on the Go, the hottest new shaved ice to hit OC.

Owners Mark and Laura Wright and their four children run the Mission Viejo shop where they start with ice—the fluffy, freshly fallen kind—then top it with your choice of more than 50 tasty syrups freshly made everyday. Specialty flavors include Tropical Treat, real orange and pineapple syrups topped with fresh strawberries and stuffed with soft serve vanilla ice cream; Thai Paradise, coconut milk and fresh mango; and Apple Pie, real apple, cinnamon, caramel, and soft serve in the middle.

For purists there are traditional shaved ice flavors like bubblegum, cotton candy, watermelon and cherry (to name a few)—some even sugar free! Any flavor or combination of flavors can include soft serve vanilla ice cream (think orange Creamsicle or root beer float). They also make coffee/tea flavors made from real triple brewed blends of the finest ingredients from mocha latte to coconut chai. There are no limits here, you can custom create from a variety of flavors and toppings.

Mention Greer’s OC and receive a free snoball with purchase through Wednesday, March 24! Open noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday. 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday 25567 Jeronimo Rd. in Mission Viejo. 949.510.3443.
