IN HARMONY WITH AFRICA!
We just loved their unforgettable harmonies on Paul Simon's album "Graceland," and now you can hear, for free, the Grammy Award-winning, South African group Ladysmith Black Mambazo. It will kick off the world premiere of the new MUZEO exhibit, "Under African Skies," during a special 75-minute outdoor performance at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Downtown Anaheim Pavilion next to the MUZEO.
At MUZEO's new exhibit you can explore the people of Africa's continent, their culture, lands and rich history through hands-on activities, multi-media showcases, storytelling, and an incredible collection of cultural artifacts.
There's also a stunning photo gallery entitled "Sudan: The Land and the People." Award-winning photographer Michael Freeman and writers Timothy Carney (U.S. Ambassador) and Victoria Butler deliver an incredible exhibition of images and emotional stories captured during two years in the war-torn nation. The exhibit runs through Jan. 7.
Admission to the performance is free to the public with a paid MUZEO ticket. Admission to the museum starts at $11 or less.
