Do you have prom, party or bridesmaid dresses, shoes and purses that take up too much space in your closet?
You can make a girl's dream come true by donating them today to Cinderellas for Life. Hundreds of young girls in economic need will be going to their proms and thanking you!
Cinderellas for Life is a much-needed event that Working Wardrobes, a nonprofit organization in Fountain Valley, holds each year to help 500 foster youth and low-income teens prepare for their prom.
The teenagers will pick their dresses at a day-long event at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Irvine on March 8. And Working Wardrobes need donations this week to sort and tag the dresses.
Each Cinderella will receive the prom dress of her dreams with all the matching accessories, as well as classes on goal-setting, etiquette, education and self-esteem.
This year, Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez will speak to the young women on the importance of making right decisions. It's proven to be a very life-changing day for these young ladies.
