Owner Cassie Kuhen Orr and her incredible staff are personable, welcoming and offer fresh-baked treats and candy for all occasions. Be sure to stock up on Valentine's Day candies, chocolates, and décor. Five Sweets bakes mini and regular size cupcakes in six flavors with choice of frostings, custom sugar cookies, 13 cookie varieties, breakfast treats including coffee cake, banana nut bread and blueberry muffins and individual desserts.
You can also order custom cakes in favorite flavors: light silver white cake (deliciously moist white cake with a tangy lemon filling); German chocolate; Texas sheet cake (moist and light chocolate cake with chocolate pecan frosting); and a three-layered Hershey's chocolate cake.
Five Sweets also provides custom gift baskets and hosts baking parties on Sundays.

My favorite charity, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, is looking for people to donate bottles of wine or tequila valued at more than $75. The alcohol will be auctioned off at the upcoming Dream Gala on March 8. You can drop your bottle(s) at Off the Vine in Laguna Hills or the charity's Orange County headquarters at 17872 Mitchell North, #100 in Irvine.
