ORANGE COUNTY IDOL
If you have a penchant for singing, dancing and performing (and raising money for Children's Hospital of Orange County), why not try out for the annual CHOC Follies? Auditions are held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Island Hotel in Newport Beach . Prospective cast members must be 21 years or older and must agree to purchase or raise a minimum of $750 in ticket sales, program ad sales and or sponsorships. For those auditioning for a solo singing or dancing roles bring sheet music, CD or tape. The CHOC Follies ranks as one of Orange County 's most popular fundraisers. Thousands attend the musical with an all-star cast of Orange County business, civic, and social leaders singing, dancing, acting and having a great time.
