A FOODIE FAVORITE



Foodies can indulge in a wonderful culinary experience at the Palm Garden (inside the Island Hotel) in Newport Beach on Friday, Nov. 30.

Sixteen of Southern California's most prominent chefs will serve their signature dishes, along with wine stations at the March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction. You can meet and chat with the chefs, a big thrill for those of us who appreciate great food and talent.

The silent auction takes place during the tasting portion of the event. It's a great chance to get a jump on holiday gift shopping!

After the tasting, guests sit down to enjoy a fabulous array of miniature desserts prepared by The Island’s pastry chef, Michael Owens. A spirited live auction starts with each chef serving as the focal point of an exclusive package.

Tickets cost $250 per person. Proceeds from the event support the mission of the March of Dimes: to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality.

Participating chefs are Bill Bracken at Palm Terrace Restaurant at The Island Hotel; Ashley Ewart at hush; Chris Garnier at Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion; David B. Martin at the Pacific Club; Adam Navidi at the Californian at the Hyatt; Andrew Sutton at Napa Rose; Rich Mead at Sage and Sage on the Coast; Lewis Butler at Splashes; James Hamamori and Johnny Valero at Hamamori Restaurant-Lounge; Jimmy Martinez at Dolce; Jeff Platt at Oysters Restaurant; Felix Salcedo at the Cannery-Seafood of the Pacific; Michael Rossi at Ambrosia Restaurant; Steve Warner at Wildfish Seafood Grille; Mark Jacobi at Sundried Tomato; Nicholas Weber at Pinot Provence; and John Cuevas at The Loft at Montage Laguna Beach.

Enjoy chef samplings, cocktails and silent auction from 7 to 8:30 p.m; and dessert and live auction from 8:30 to 10 p.m.
