It's the most wonderful time of the year ... when OC's favorite holiday gift buying extravaganza takes place. The Christmas Company returns Friday through Monday at Orange County Fair & Exposition Center in Costa Mesa.
The Junior League of Orange County's much-anticipated 32nd annual fund-raiser draws in more than 100 merchants from OC and around the country and features specialty items not available through traditional stores.
You'll find everything from women's fashions to children's clothing and books, home décor, gardening items and gourmet foods, as well as holiday décor.
Women’s clothing, jewelry and accessories include lines from from Purseonality, Slater and Sloane, Hippie Chix Studio, Little Black Dress, the Cherished Accessory, Lu Ping Pearls, and Paco Soler.
Children's items include Haute Stuff for Kids, Papa Bear Pajamas, Dollites, Bassinets & Blueberries, and Baby Jak. Whale of a Tale, among others, will offer children's books, clothing, furnishings, and toys.
Gourmet foods, dishes and cookware come from a Store For Cooks, Knife Nitch, Cherchies, Iveta Gourmet, and Davis Mountain Nuts. Home and garden items come from Lavender Blue, English Gardenstone, and A Room to View.
Tickets costs $10 and includes parking. During the four-day Christmas Company run, the Junior League holds special events including a Preferred Shopping Breakfast ($30) from 8 to 10 a.m. Friday; and an Evening of Food & Wine ($75) from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets to the breakfast and wine tasting can be purchased online at www.jlocc.org 949.263.3785. General admission tickets can be purchased at the door.
