FRESH AND MODERN TASTE



Two celebrated chefs, Amelia and Florent Marneau, recently opened Marché Moderne, a new fine dining spot at South Coast Plaza. The restaurant specializes in the season's freshest foods, masterfully prepared by Florent, formerly of Pinot Provence, and Ameila, an accomplished pastry chef and graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. Both Marneaus combine their impressive culinary background and give South Coast Plaza shoppers a premier dining choice for lunch and dinner.

Try their sensational prix fixe lunch for $20; the three courses change daily.

Marché Moderne opened in the former Troquet space, on the third level in the Nordstrom wing. The elegant and contemporary décor features limestone finishes and espresso colored woods in the bar and throughout the restaurant.

The exhibition kitchen with its wood-burning oven is where French regional specialties like tarte flambée and pissaladière are baked to order. Outdoor dining is available in the charming patio too.
