The Mariposa lunch centers on contemporary cuisine. It includes choices of perfectly composed salads, delicious sandwiches and regional entrees, featuring fresh seafood and specialty produce.

Chef Steve Palmer creates wonderful lunches while preserving Neiman Marcus signature dishes, including complimentary hot chicken consommé served in white demitasse cups with tiny crescent-shaped cheddar cheese biscuits; giant popovers served with strawberry butter; the light, whipped Mandarin orange souffle salad with chicken, fruit and poppy seed dressing and fruit bread; and their world-famous chocolate chip cookies.

The Mariposa's covered terrace offers spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island. The Mariposa is also a perfect place to celebrate special occasions and events. (Brides-to-be come here for showers with a lavish lunch or afternoon tea.)

And don't miss the chic Bar on 3, (just outside The Mariposa), an ideal setting to sip a cocktail or glass of champagne in the afternoon while enjoying exceptional people watching in OC.
