As a complement to Newport Beach's ongoing Restaurant Week, Pinot Provence at the Westin South Coast Plaza is also offering a three-course prix-fixe lunch and dinner for just $20.07 and $30.07 respectively.

That's quite a deal because Pinot Provence is one of the top-rated restaurants in Orange County. It offers fine French Mediterranean cuisine for theatergoers as well as diners looking for a first-class experience. Pinot Provence, one of Chef Joachim Splichal's creations, conjures up a South-of-France feel with original art, carved wood and limestone floors.

First course selections: Tartare of beets, Laura Chenel goat cheese, roasted shallot vinaigrette; grilled corn custard, soria chorizo crisp, Key West pink shrimp; endive and Roquefort salad with candied walnuts.

Second course selections: Crispy chicken breast, savory truffle bread pudding, roasted lettuce, truffle jus; seared jumbo scallops, English pea mousseline, fromage blanc ravioli, lardoons, truffle espuma; braised short rib, hand-rolled cavatelli, morel mushrooms.

Dessert selections: Trio of sorbet with fresh berries; chocolate soufflé, crème fraiche gelato, spiced chocolate espuma; cherry clafoutis, parsnip gelato, cocoa nibs.
