QUITE THE CATCH
The Catch, a landmark restaurant in Anaheim, celebrates its 30th anniversary by offering a three-course prime rib dinner for just $19.76 (the dining spot opened in 1976) through December.
The dinner starts with a choice of hearty clam chowder or a crisp Caesar salad. Next comes a generous cut of tender prime rib, carved to order, with garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Dessert is a classic crème brulee. The special is available nightly in December except Christmas (the restaurant is closed) and New Year’s Eve.
The special is also served on Christmas Eve, making it an exceptional holiday value. Red wine specials complement the dinner, too.
Siblings Joe, Peter and Michele Manzella, the proprietors of the popular TAPS Fish House & Brewery in Brea, now own the Catch. With its proximity to the Angel Stadium the clubby, comfortable restaurant is a favorite of pro athletes, pre-concert revelers and conventioneers who enjoy its oyster bar, fresh fish, prime steaks and award-winning wine list.
