The 8th annual Lobsterfest at Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort & Marina Newport Beach on Sunday, Aug. 7 from 3 to 8 p.m. includes a lobster dinner with dancing, live music, opportunity drawings, prizes and fun on the beach.

Live Maine lobster will be flown in fresh on the morning of the event and prepared alongside a buffet that includes NY Strip Steak, corn-on-the-cob, salads and dessert.

Pinch Me! Band, a popular rock-n-pop band, will play favorites from more than seven decades from 4 to 8 p.m.

Lobsterfest will have special activities for kids provided by Camp James.

Tickets for Lobsterfest at Newport Beach are $60 per person in advance, and $80 at the door. Additional lobster can be purchased for $20 each. A special ‘box’ meal for children under 12 is available for $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

VIP tickets, which include all-you-can-eat lobster dinner, complimentary beer and wine, valet parking and reserved seating in front of the stage area are $150 in advance.
