Renting Never Looked So Good

Los Olivos

We feel like moving after just seeing the new resort-like Los Olivos Apartment Village in Irvine. The Irvine Company went all out on the apartment community that was once the Wild Rivers Waterpark.

At its grand opening Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. you’ll be tempted to become a resident at Los Olivos, too. You’d swear you were on vacation when you visit its stunning saltwater pools, luxurious clubhouses, and tranquil setting with eight parks, a great lawn, tennis and basketball courts and state-of-the art fitness centers.

One lucky winner at the event will win six months free rent and other great raffle prizes: iPads, a stay/play package to the Resort at Pelican Hill, a design consultation with Canvas Interiors, a $500 Restoration Hardware gift card, Irvine Spectrum Center gift cards and more.

While checking out Los Olivos model apartment homes, enjoy Mexican small bites, live Mariachi performances and a photo fun station.

When completed there will be 1,750 apartments. The first leases start March 3, and rents range from $1650 to $2950. Square footage starts at 525 square feet for a junior one bedroom, one bath to 1,207 square feet for a two-bedroom, 2.5 bath, plus a den townhome.

Los Olivos Apartment Village is right off Irvine Center Drive at the 405 Freeway at 350 Gitano, in Irvine. 877.668.0149.

Pure Bliss at Majestic

Majestic Spa If you haven’t yet experienced Majestic Spa’s therapeutic massage that starts at just $25 for an hour, you’re missing out on pure bliss and affordable relaxation. The spa offers two locations in Irvine, one at Diamond Jamboree Plaza and at Quail Hill Shopping Center.

It's the place to go for reflexology, acupressure, Swedish massage, neck and shoulder or its Majestic Signature Package, that combines full body and reflexology for 60 min. to 90 min, $35 to $59. After one visit to Majestic, you’ll feel relaxed and rejuvenated. Walk-ins are welcome, too.

6785 Quail Hill Parkway in Irvine. 854.1010; or 2700 Alton Parkway, St. #235 in Irvine. 949.724.9999.
