Brides to be can attend Festival of Brides, an upscale bridal show, this Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim. It’s the day to plan your wedding, get ideas and meet premier wedding specialists, listen to live orchestras, bands, DJ's, classical music, and taste wedding cakes and food. The event features floral designers, caterers, custom gift favors, invitations, photographer and videographers, as well as hot products and services for your special day. Celebrity guest Kathy Ireland will be introducing her new bridal line, 2be Designs including wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses and mother of the bride styles.

Tickets to the bridal show cost $25 at the door, or $15 pre-admission.

Dreamin' of a Cure!

Looking for a special mother-daughter day? Or, even a fun outing with your girlfriends? Make plans to attend the National Charity League’s fashion show, luncheon, and silent auction Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim.  Proceeds will be going to the fight against Cystic Fibrosis.

Red Carpet for you!

Celebrate the Oscars in style at Kimera Restaurant and Lounge’s special Red Carpet Party on Sunday at 5 p.m. The evening will feature a red carpet entrance, a full buffet dinner, cocktails, viewing of the awards ceremony and a silent auction to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association of Orange County. Tickets cost $65 per person, (tax and gratuity not included) which includes one specialty cocktail, hors d’oeuvres, and a buffet dinner. Fashion experts will award prizes for best dressed and more categories, and enjoy a tango performance by Marcelo Rivero.

The Orange County Alzheimer’s Association raises funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s and dementia. It offers support for people living with Alzheimer’s, including a 24/7 helpline.
