Who will be crowned the first Top Chop Truck at the second “Farm to Food Truck Challenge” at SoCo Farmer’s Market in Costa Mesa this Saturday?
It’s best you come out to SoCo Farmer’s Market on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. to witness first-hand the second “Farm To Food Truck Challenge.” The creative cook-off starts when the foodie judges choose six ingredients to be used in competition, then 15 gourmet food trucks will be cooking up dishes at noon using fresh produce from the SoCo Farmer's Market.
While you’re watching the cooks and judges in action, enjoy foods from your favorite OC trucks, fresh produce, music and more. And SoCo Farmer’s Market will be hosting a food drive for the Someone Cares Soup Kitchen by collecting cans of food, and cash donations to purchase farm fresh ingredients.
SoCo Certified Farmers' Market is at South Coast Collection, 3315 Hyland Ave., Costa Mesa, www.SouthCoastCollection.com.
