Today UltraStar Cinemas at Anaheim GardenWalk is rolling out the first and only D-BOX motion technology in Orange County, with the premiere of “TRON: Legacy.” Twenty-six D-BOX seats are meant to draw the viewer in with subtle motion effects creating sensations that pitch, heave and roll in perfect sync with the onscreen action. Currently there are only 17 theaters in the world offering the D-BOX experience.

Also, UltraStar will screen “TRON: Legacy” in both 3D and D-BOX for a combination of realistic motion effects with larger-than-life images providing a multi-sensory immersion to experience films in a whole new way. To experience the 3D and D-Box technology there is an additional charge of $11 per seat.

UltraStar will also be adding additional amenities in the coming months, such as reserved seating, beer and wine service, large screen formats and more.
