For the first time, Bonefish Grill, an award-winning fresh fish restaurant founded in St. Petersburg, Florida, opened a California location at The Market Place in Tustin. In just thirteen years, the Bonefish Grill family has expanded to more than 188 restaurants throughout 32 states. Bonefish Grill’s concept, founded by two adventure-seekers and fish aficionados Chris Parker and Tim Curei, was created to take the mystery out of eating fresh delicious fish sourced from around the world. It specializes in value-driven, market-fresh seafood and savory wood-grilled specialties.
Bonefish Grill’s Chef Mark Adair and his team prepare globally and locally sourced fish, some from Santa Monica Seafood. Market fresh specials change daily and feature special sauces such as spinach bacon gorgonzola, appetizers and “hand helds” include Bang Bang Shrimp, ahi tuna sashimi, “American Style” Kobe beef burgers, fish tacos, Carlsbad Mussels Josephine, Chef’s Creek and Fanny Bay Oysters and Bonefish Grill Tustin’s signature Wood-Grilled Artichokes.
The menu also features a selection of hand-cut steaks, as well as pasta, chicken and pork dishes. All entrees come with hot crusty bread and a choice of rice, seasonal vegetables or potato selection. Gluten free, kids and calorie-count menus are available upon request.
The bar offers hand-crafted cocktails, an affordable wine list and a selection of local craft beers. In addition, about ten reserve wines representing the local terroir are offered. Weekly (Sunday through Thursday) “happier hours” includes special drink prices from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Five dollar hand-crafted cocktails are available all day, including premium red and white wines and four featured cocktails of the day.
Open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday; open for dinner 4 to 10:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday; and open until 11:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and until 10 p.m. on Sunday. Sunday Brunch is served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Bonefish Grill Tustin is at The Market Place at 3040 El Camino Real in Tustin. 714.368-7613
