The 2015 Fore the Kids Golf Classic
One of the most exciting charity golf tournaments of the year is fast approaching. The 2015 Fore the Kids Golf Classic will take place on Friday, May 29 at Oak Creek Golf Club in Irvine. This year's event celebrates the 25th year of the tournament and will honor longtime JDRF supporter, Dick Allen. Funds raised from the golf tournament will help remove the impact of type 1 diabetes from people’s lives until we achieve a world without T1D.
The exciting day will include Oakley sunglasses and golfer goody bags for all registered golfers; lunch by Newport Rib Company, with a Bloody Mary bar; on-course refreshments will include Beach City Brewery, Sabatino's Sausage Company, Tito's Vodka, and more.
If you’re not a golfer, you can simply join the evening celebration which includes a hosted cocktail hour and silent auction starting at 5:30 p.m., photo booth, DJ and three-course dinner beginning at 7 p.m.
Registration begins, driving range open, putting contest begins at 11 a.m.; a Shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.; cocktail hour and silent auction at 5:30 p.m.; and an evening celebration and dinner on the event lawn at 7 p.m. (including live auction and fund a cure).
